Masjid Media connects the TV in a mosque’s hall with the phone in its caretaker’s pocket — so prayer times, study sessions, and announcements always arrive on time, with no technical skill required.
Why Masjid Media
The TV in the hall is often on, rarely saying anything.
In many mosques, prayer times are still written by hand, announcements are pinned to a noticeboard, and word of a last-minute study session spreads by mouth. The TV mounted in the hall often sits blank, or shows a static prayer schedule that rarely gets updated.
Masjid Media brings both sides together in one simple flow: a caretaker sets prayer times, running text, and events from an app on their phone, and the TV screen shows them instantly. Community members who can’t make it to the mosque stay connected through the same app.

The difference

Masjid Media is not a single app. It is a display, a control panel, and a daily companion — each with its own job, all reading from the same mosque.

An Android TV app showing prayer times, the countdown to the next waktu, running text and the mosque’s own slides — and stepping aside for the adhan, the iqama and the prayer itself. Nobody signs in on it.

Where the mosque is registered, the screen is paired with one QR scan, and everything on it is set: calculation method, iqama intervals, announcements, events, media, and who else is allowed to change them.

What guides every product decision.
Simple for caretakers
Not every mosque caretaker is comfortable with technology. Pairing a TV takes one QR scan, and running its content takes nothing more than a phone — no special training required.
By and for the community
A mosque’s subscription doesn’t have to fall on the caretakers alone. Any community member can cover it as ongoing charity, from anywhere.
Trustworthy with data
Mosque and community data is used only to run this service, exactly as described in our privacy policy — never sold.
Honest about price
A free tier that stays free, prices printed on this site, and billing through Google Play — no private quotes, no contracts, and a subscription you can review or cancel from your own Play account.
Data
What we hold, and what we don’t.
A mosque’s screen and its congregation’s attention are a trust. So is the data behind them. The short version is below; the policy is the long one.
- Only what the features need
- An account, the mosque you manage, and what you publish on it. Your location is read at the moment you ask for mosques nearby, and not otherwise.
- Never sold
- Your data is not merchandise and not advertising material. It is shared only with the providers that run the service — hosting, sign-in, notifications and payments.
- No card numbers here
- Payment is handled by the payment provider. We are told whether a subscription is active; your card or bank details never reach us.
- Yours to take back
- You can delete your account and its data yourself, from the app or from the web — with no email to us asking permission.
